PARVEEN’s Lubricators which connect directly to the top\u00a0of a X-Mas tree above the master valve are available in\u00a0various sizes and end connections and pressure ratings\u00a0varying from 5000 to 20000 PSI both for standard and sour\u00a0service.<\/p>\n

Operating a Lubricator is by far the most dangerous aspect\u00a0of well head service work. Therefore extreme caution has\u00a0to be exercised while operating this tool.Measurement of Rod travel is done as follows:<\/p>\n

a. Measure from the tie down piece on the tubing head to\u00a0the tree cap for a ball weevil hanger.<\/p>\n

Or<\/p>\n

b. Measure from the top of the tubing head adaptor\u00a0bottom flange to the tree cap on a hanger bushing\u00a0completion.<\/p>\n

In each case the window section of lubricator must also be\u00a0measured. This will ensure that the proper length of the rod\u00a0will be used. Most lubricator rods are marked in 5 such\u00a0increments:<\/p>\n

a. Needle Valve A\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Valve located in manifold by pass assembly closest to\u00a0adaptor flange.<\/p>\n

b. Needle Valve B\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Valve located on manifold bypass assembly closest to\u00a0the first UNION connection.\u00a0(NOTE: In lubricators upto 5000 PSI, needle valve B is\u00a0also used as a bleed down valve. Needle valve C is\u00a0used in 10000, 15000 & 20000 PSI lubricators to\u00a0equalize pressure throughout the tool and not as\u00a0bleed down valves.)<\/p>\n

c. Needle Valve C\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Only valve with a pressure gauge attached.
