{"id":2950,"date":"2019-11-28T11:25:12","date_gmt":"2019-11-28T05:55:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/parveen.in\/?post_type=products&#038;p=2950"},"modified":"2020-08-10T14:06:32","modified_gmt":"2020-08-10T08:36:32","slug":"wireline-tool-string","status":"publish","type":"products","link":"https:\/\/parveenoilfield.com\/ng\/products\/wireline-tool-string\/","title":{"rendered":"Wireline Tool String"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;2\/3&#8243;][vc_column_text]The Wireline Tool String is necessary for the efficient surface control\u00a0during the running and pulling operations on wireline \/ slickline of\u00a0sub surface controlled devices.<\/p>\n<p>An assembly of wireline tools connected to the wireline is used to\u00a0deliver surface controlled impacts (jar action), either upwards or\u00a0downwards, to manipulate devices within the well bore.<\/p>\n<p>A standard set of the tool string typically consist of :<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rope Socket<\/strong> for attaching the wireline to the tool string.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stem \/ Weight Bar<\/strong> for adding weight to sink the tool in the well bore against the well pressure and different gravity fluids encountered.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spang Link \/ Mechanical Jar<\/strong> for securing the hammering effect by\u00a0upward or downward movement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Knuckle Joint<\/strong> for obtaining flexibility through the tool string.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Running \/ Pulling Tool<\/strong> for running and retrieving devices from the\u00a0well bore.<\/p>\n<p>All tools are available with the following as per the customer\u2019s<\/p>\n<p>requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sucker Rod Threads<\/li>\n<li>UN Threads<\/li>\n<li>Quick Lock Connection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sucker rod threads are machined on the tools as per API 11B.<\/p>\n<p>UN threads are also machined on the tools and are interchangeable\u00a0with sucker rod threads but are shorter in length.<\/p>\n<p>A quick lock connector as the name suggest is a quick connect and\u00a0quick disconnect connection, which is used in place of screwed\u00a0connection. It has many advantages over screwed connection:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It incorporates a quarter turn connection.<\/li>\n<li>It is stronger than a screwed connection.
