Advantages:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Automatic locating collet:<\/strong> Flags the operator when a sleeve is reached. It also indicates when the tool passes through a sleeve or a nipple.<\/li>\n
  2. Proof of completed shift:<\/strong> As soon as a shift, either open or close, is co m pleted, an attempt to repeat the operation will give a positive indication that the shift was performed.<\/li>\n
  3. Safety feature:<\/strong> If the sleeve is opened in the presence of a differential pressure in favour of the annulus, the release\u00a0 mechanism is held inoperative by the flow until the pressure is balanced to allow safe removal.<\/li>\n
  4. Open and close sleeves in one trip:<\/strong> Shifting tools can be run in tandem if required to both open and close sleeves on the same run in a well. Run the tool with collect up to open sleeves or with collect down (Inverted position) to close sleeves.<\/li>\n
  5. Deliberate release:<\/strong> Even after the shifting tool is seated in the sleeve, it can be released without shifting the closing sleeve.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
