All other physical\u00a0properties conform with API standard 7 latest revised edition. The central part is made\u00a0from a solid bar of modified AISI &#8211; 1340 steel, fully heat treated. The tool joints are\u00a0attached by welding.<\/p>\n<p><strong>STRESS RELIEF GROOVES &amp; CONNECTIONS FEATURES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PARVEEN long stress relief grooves on box ends are standard on 4.1\/2\u201d IF, 4\u201d IF &amp;\u00a03.1\/2 IF Connections.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>API stress relief grooves on pin ends are standard on 4.1\/2\u201d IF, 4\u201d IF &amp; 3.1\/2\u201d IF\u00a0Connections.<\/li>\n<li>Thread roots are cold worked on all sizes.<\/li>\n<li>All conne<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>HARDBANDING<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To optimize wear resistance hard banding is standard on pin and box connections and\u00a0central upset. The heavy duty hard metal is sintered granular tungsten carbide 10\/20\u00a0mesh or 20\/45 mesh (fine particles). The hard banding is deposited by an automatic\u00a0machine after pre-heating the pipe and is followed by stress relieving. Standard pads<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One 4\u201d wear pad on both pin and box end.
