TMP and TP Series Side Pocket Mandrel :<\/strong><\/p>\n

PARVEEN TMP and TP Series Side Pocket Mandrels consits of\u00a0forged pocket with integral tool discriminator, oval pipe, swages\u00a0and orienting sleeves. Its orienting sleeve allows precise and\u00a0proper alignment during the insertion of positioning devices \/\u00a0tools into the side pocket. Forged tool discriminator guides the\u00a0proper diameter side pocket devices\/tools into the mandrel\u00a0pocket and deflects larger tools into the tubing bore to prevent\u00a0damage to the positioning devices\/tools.In Gas Lift applications, high pressure gas injected into the\u00a0casing annulus flows through the ports of the pocket in the gas\u00a0lift valve and into the tubing. The standard pocket is ported\u00a0between the seal bores to communicate with the casing annulus\u00a0and the gas is circulated down the annulus through the gas lift\u00a0valve into the tubing. These mandrels are used for tubing\u00a0flow applications.\u00a0Both TMP and TP series feature multiple porting variations for\u00a0specific applications i.e. annulus flow, chamber lift, fluid injection\u00a0water flood installations.<\/p>\n

TMP and TPC Series Side Pocket Mandrel :<\/strong><\/p>\n

These mandrels are used in annulus flow applications in which a\u00a0snorkel functions as an exhaust port. Snorkel located at the\u00a0bottom of the side pocket, extends downward into casing\u00a0annulus. The holes in the mandrel side pocket directly\u00a0communicate with the tubing. High pressure gas injected into\u00a0the tubing flows through the port between the packing bores into\u00a0the pocket of the mandrel, then through the ports into the gas lift\u00a0valve, downward through the snorkel and then finally into the\u00a0casing.<\/p>\n

TMPE and TPE Series Side Pocket Mandrel :<\/strong><\/p>\n

These mandrels are mainly used in chamber lift applications.\u00a0They have no ports in the side pocket for communication with the\u00a0tubing. Instead of that, an exhaust port is located at the bottom of\u00a0the side pocket. This port is extended downward into the casing\u00a0annulus through a \u00bd\u201d pipe connected to the top packer of a\u00a0chamber lift installation. In gas lift application, high pressure gas\u00a0injected into the casing annulus flows through the ports in the\u00a0side of the mandrel, then through the ports in the gas lift valve\u00a0and finally downward to the exhaust port.<\/p>\n

TMPS and TPS Series Side Pocket Mandrel :<\/strong><\/p>\n

These mandrels are used in single string, multi zone fluid\u00a0injection water flood installations. The casing exhaust port\u00a0located at the bottom of the side pocket is used to protect the\u00a0casing from high velocity turbulence related with water flooding.\u00a0In water flood operations, water injected into the tubing flows into\u00a0the mandrel side pocket, through the water flood flow regulator\u00a0valve and downward through the exhaust port. A non retrievable\u00a0check valve can be attached directly to the exhaust port to\u00a0prevent back flow from the annulus when the water flood\u00a0regulator valve is removed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
