These are designed to unload excess\u00a0fluids from a gas well or to increase\u00a0production on an oil well. Plungers are\u00a0designed as a solid interface between the\u00a0fluid column and the lifting gas. There are a\u00a0large number of surface arrangements\u00a0being used successfully today to control\u00a0fluid lifting performance of the installation.\u00a0These range from basic time cycle control\u00a0to more complex electronic control\u00a0methods that respond to changing\u00a0downhole and injection gas supply\u00a0conditions, reducing the need for frequent\u00a0inspection to maintain optimum installation\u00a0operation.\u00a0Plunger Lift is ideal for: (1) improving the\u00a0efficiency of intermittent gas lift (2)\u00a0removing liquid from gas wells (3)\u00a0producing high GOR wells\/solution gas\u00a0drive reservoirs and (4) preventing paraffin\u00a0and\/or scale buildup.<\/p>\n<p>One of the main objectives of a Plunger Lift\u00a0installation on a gas producing well is to\u00a0keep the area in the immediate vicinity of\u00a0the wellbore as dry as possible. To perform\u00a0this function when the formation is\u00a0producing liquids along with the gas, the\u00a0gas flow must be of sufficient velocity to\u00a0deliver all liquids to the surface as they\u00a0enter the wellbore.\u00a0The heart of the installation is the plunger\u00a0itself, of which PARVEEN offers several\u00a0designs to meet different well requirements.\u00a0The plunger is installed in the tubing string\u00a0and becomes an interface between the fluid\u00a0and the gases as it travels to the surface to\u00a0expel accumulated fluid. The plunger\u00a0movement is the result of a cyclic operation\u00a0that creates a differential across the\u00a0plunger.
